Is mindset the way we think or what we think?
Mindset has been around since the beginning of time when Adam took the apple from Eve in the Garden of Eden but strangely enough, we don’t look at it that way, do we?
So, what is mindset? Why is mindset one of the biggest struggles our world deals with?
If you believe you can accomplish it, chances are you can, but if you don’t believe it is attainable, chances are it never will be. What you believe affects what you achieve. Your attitudes and your perspectives are engaged with the conscious and partial conscious and can be learned and unlearned, programmed or reprogrammed in many different ways.
Mindset is a symptom of what we are taught or not taught by parents, friends and teaching institutions etc. Mindset starts from an early age, no one is exempt from society programming.
The biggest responsibility for us as humans is to be open to use the tools given to us for a strong mindset, in general. Developing your mindset will help you within your social and cultural daily living. Sounds simple, right? Well, not really. It seems that if things are not easy to do nowadays, people will not exercise simple change in their lives, such as change of mind.
Mindset can help you become your best self. Understanding mindset and how to achieve it is half the battle; the other half is knowing what to do and how to implement it. Life really isn’t that difficult. We make it difficult. The same is true with mindset. Mindset really isn’t that difficult, but we find a way to make it difficult.
WHAT IS YOUR MINDSET?
People with a fixed mindset believe that these qualities are inborn, fixed, and unchangeable.
Those with a growth mindset, on the other hand, believe that these abilities can be developed and strengthened by way of commitment and hard work.
Do you have a fixed or growth mindset? Start reading the following statements and decide which ones you agree with most.
People have a certain amount of intelligence, and there isn't any way to change it.
No matter who you are, there isn't much you can do to improve your basic abilities and personality.
People are capable of changing who they are.
You can learn new things and improve your intelligence.
People either have particular talents, or they don't. You can't just acquire talent for things like music, writing, art, or athletics.
Studying, working hard, and practicing new skills are all ways to develop new talents and abilities.
If you tend to agree with statements 1, 2, and 5, then you probably have a more fixed mindset. If you agree with statements 3, and 4, 6, however, then you probably tend to have a growth mindset.
Attend the Soar High workshop and be given the tools from Trent for growth and change for a better YOU.
“If you want something new, you have to stop doing something old.”
Are you willing to step into the unknown for a better YOU tomorrow?
Then do it now before "sometime later" becomes "NEVER"
