Online art Auction
All Artists must full in the application HERE to have their work reviewed in the selection process for our Online Live art Auction.
You will need to provide a Photo of yourself with your art in your Art Gallery, Plus three images of the three pieces you intend to sell on one of the live art auctions.
Art that is selected for The Online Art Auction will be of a high standard and presentation. It will be fit for exhibition presentation for the live online art auction. (please see terms and conditions).
We expect the work to reflect the personal style of the artist, to be their own intellectual property and to be priced accordingly – not over or under priced. Ask us if you are not sure what to price your art at.
All work are to be priced under $1,000, if you wish to sell art pieces over the $1.000 threshold then we will take a 25% commission for each piece sold over the $1000 threshold.
The Price of the entry fee to be in the Live Online Art Auction is for you to sell your three pieces of art you have submitted. We w do not take commissions on the three art pieces sold. Your fee is for three pieces only and can be used in one live auction. We ask for the fee upfront of $200 to be able to sell your art online, this fee is for three pieces only. Each online art auction requires a fee of $200 to being able to participate.
Artwork must be not more than three years old.
All work entered must be the work of a living artist and must be entered by the artist/creator of the work.
How the Online Art Auction will be run.
Each Wednesday Evening from 7pm New Zealand time Zone.
Each live Art Auction will be held either live on Facebook or Zoom, if you have purchased and register as an art investor you will be sent the link via your email.
Each artist will display their art from where they join us live so buyers can see their art. When the artist pieces comes up for auction, he/she will hold it up to the computer screen, we will give out the ref number and then we will start the bidding.
Each bidder needs to mention when we are showing the artist piece of art need to type in they wish to bid, the potential buyers will be made live and you can UN-mute so you can bid on the art piece. each art piece will be given 10 minutes for bidding upon, the last bid is final if it is above the reserve price.
the Online art auction team will then put you in touch with the artist via our email and it is up to both of you to be in contact within one working day. You will be given the reference number for the art piece you have purchased, then the rest is up to the artist and the purchaser.
